Eligibility

• Entrants must be 18 years of age or older.
• Artists must be current residents of Tasmania.
• A completed online entry form and payment of the $35 entry fee is required per artwork.
• A maximum of two (2) entries may be submitted per artist.

Artwork Requirements

Digital and fine art entries are welcome.

Artists will be emailed a template for guidance regarding preferred shape and scale. Artwork does not need to be physically presented on the template; however, submitted works should align with the general proportions indicated.

Digital artwork must meet or exceed 150 DPI resolution requirements to ensure high-quality reproduction.

Artists must clearly label the reverse of physical works with their full name, title of artwork, medium, and contact details.

If emailing digital artwork, artists must include their full name, title of artwork, medium, and contact details.

The full name provided with each artwork must match the name provided in the online entry form.

Submission Guidelines

Digital Entries

Digital submissions must be emailed (with attachment or linked file) by 5pm on 15 April to: hello@communionbrewing.com.au 

Files should be submitted in high-resolution format.

Fine Art Entries

Physical artworks must received by 5pm on 15 April at:

Artists are responsible for all freight and insurance costs associated with delivery and return of artworks.

Artists wishing to retain their originals must collect the artwork between 1 May and 15 May 2026.

We’re inviting Tasmanian artists to design artwork for a limited-edition Communion Brewing Co beer can.

Here’s what you need to know:

Who can enter?
• You must be 18+
• You must live in Tasmania

Entry fee
• $35 (inc GST) per submission

The big rule
• Your artwork must be 100% original and completely human-created.
• No AI-generated art. No AI-assisted elements.
• No stock art. No copied or borrowed material.

If needed, we may ask to see sketches or working files to confirm your creative process.

The prize
• $500 cash
• One carton of the limited-edition beer featuring your design
• Your artwork professionally printed on a Communion Brewing Co beer can

(Yes, you’ll get to drink your own artwork.)

Copyright & usage (important bit)
• You keep ownership of your artwork.
• If you win, you grant Communion Brewing Co exclusive, ongoing rights to use the artwork commercially — including on cans, packaging, marketing, social media, merchandise and future reprints.
• The $500 + carton of beer is full and final payment. There are no royalties or future payments, even if the design is reused or reprinted later.

Design tweaks
We may make minor adjustments so the artwork works properly for print, branding, or legal labelling requirements.
